St Benedict’s Pastoral School Board
was established in 2010. It is an Archdiocesan expectation that a school board
is established for every Catholic school in our Brisbane Catholic Archdiocese.
The role of the Pastoral School Board is
visioning in nature. It involves developing school policies, communicating with
parents the directions that the school will be taking, reviewing school budgets
and guiding as a Community of Leaders. We are blessed to have some very generous
parents involved in the life of the Pastoral School Board and thank them
for their ongoing commitment to the life of our growing school community.
Under its constitution the Pastoral School
Board comprises of members from across the school and parish community. The
membership of the Pastoral School Board consists of School Principal,
Parish Priest, staff representatives and parent representatives. If you are
interested in being a member of the Pastoral School Board please contact
pmangohill@bne.catholic.edu.au
The
Pastoral School Board meets on the second Tuesday night of every month
within the school calendar.
